Fantastic place!!! Everyone working there is so kind and informative. They have free services for stuff like mammograms and when you receive a panel for blood work you also get a Pap smear! Very VERY inexpensive. I definitely will be supporting in the future!

I must say that I am disappointed with the service. The black women who drew my blood were gentle (I would say there should be water on standby for those who get dizzy though lol 😅), and the sweet lady who most consistently answers the phone, seemingly the only one now that I think about it, “Kiersten” is super kind. I read the reviews prior to coming, and took into consideration that this clinic is meant to be accommodating to Black Women. I was honestly surprised to see that the Doctor checking me was not Black. Everyone else in the office is, and so there is this essence of comfort… like home, but I did not want a white doctor, no offense to her. I have been struggling with a yeast infection for almost a year now… I had originally gone to a CVS (traumatizing, unsanitary—don’t go to the minute-clinic girls), that didn’t treat me but left me with a bill, tried, and am continuing trying endless natural remedies; boric acid suppositories, diet alterings, clothing changes, shower temperature drops, apple cider vinegar, unscented soap, etc., and nothing has worked unfortunately. For a year. At CVS I had a white doctor who overlooked me and brushed my situation as a “simple fix”, and honestly the same thing has happened here. I shared that I have been out of tune with my body for quite some time now, I am regretful for not knowing previously how to safely operate as a means to ensure my vaginal safety, but it feels like I am being punished even further by white clinics that do not consider the stress of living like this (I know no one outside of me is experiencing this but I would appreciate some empathy past phone calls). I was told to take Monistat, then return for Diflucan… it’s not enough! My body has rejected everything. I was houseless at a point, and had to spend money not only towards Ubering to this location, back and forth, but towards the first screening itself! I do not have anymore resources (money, energy) to keep caring more about my body than the people that I hoped would help me. I would have preferred to be guided elsewhere if the Black Women’s Wellness Clinic cannot help me, the first time. Calls are often not generally answered, earlier today I missed a call from the doctor and got back within 5 minutes, spam called because again, I need the help!!, and no answer! I am also in college during this all so at the time I was in the library. It’s so exhausting, having to behave like I am fully okay whilst I have this relentless infection inside me, as well as the stress of daily life. I have reached out through email, their patient portal—no response from either—so if you’re not lucky on landing a phone call then no response. I do not mean to have a pity party in the reviews here but I must be honest, because I care for Black Women having safe spaces and so we therefore must address issues that are present to ensure we are respected and protected, healed! It seems they are understaffed, and I reason with this but I have been sooo patient, as the patient LOL! Also, I was encouraged to “pap smear” or whatever it is called, the checking of the cervix if I am not mistaken, which even though that nerves me (like many young women) I allowed… and okay in that regard I’m fine.. blood work fine (which was hard for me to believe because this little sucker won’t go away! I thought I had an STD!). But if we cannot tackle a “simple yeast infection” (and it’s not just this clinic, CVS and TikTok/Reddit/Google failed me too) then how can I expect to be properly treated for something more fatal! The clinic is nice. It is clean and calm, but when you are done with receiving service it seems you are wanted to leave (even though there is seating and pamphlets?) and I still have this yeast infection. I applaud myself for not spiraling to be honest. I would appreciate some grace, understanding, and help past words. If anyone has a CURE for yeast? Let.me.know.

I had a great experience everyone there was very kind and genuine. The office is very clean and decorated. You can tell that they really care about their patients. I’m a breast cancer survivor and I just moved to Atlanta so I don’t have a PCP yet. They have a sliding scale so it’s based on your income. I spoke with the receptionist Kirsten Kemp to set up my appointment. She was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. The staff Unique and nurse practitioner Amy took great care of me! I would most definitely recommend the center for black women wellness!
