HORRID WORK PLACE. BEN PAGONI SPECIFICALLY HAS PUT A BAD TASTE IN MY MOUTH ABOUT THIS PLACE. THIS MAN WOULD NOT ALLOW HIS PRIDE TO BE SET ASIDE BUT INSTEAD WAS INTIMIDATED BY ME QUESTIONING, ADVOCATING, AND DEFENDING MYSELF IN A SITUATION I FELT I WAS BEING WRONGED IN. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND WORKING FOR THIS ORGANIZATION.

I rented with PPL for about a year and a half. The condition of the building was sad. Stains on floors, dirty worn carpeting, filthy rails which I called about numerous times and they just didnt care. The laundry room was always dirty and never really maintained. They let the tenants do whatever they want even if they violate their lease. They rent to anybody. Loud people with little to no respect for the property or other tenants. People would regularly litter in the hallways or just never clean up after themselves and this never got addressed. The Adair property (where I was) was a very noisy building. Management and specifically Quaneisha Rich never got back to me regarding work orders or concerns I had. Cyndi, one of the other managers however always got back to me and did her best to address issues. The maintenance staff was always great at their job. The only draw back was that they never reach out to schedule a time for maintenance so they would just show up whenever they felt like it. It was usually pretty reasonable though.

One thing that was pretty ridiculous was that PPL fired the guy who cleaned the hallways and let the building go for I think 1.5 months without being cleaned. Pretty gross and irresponsible. We had to come together as tenants and landlords and create a petition to get someone to clean the damn building.

I would not rent from and live under PPL management ever again.

Property managers absolutely suck.. they don’t do their jobs, don’t answer phones or return phone calls. Have tried to call and complain several times about this problem and nothing has changed. Found 2 places I have been calling about for 2 weeks now and haven’t received a single call back. The property managers sit in the office daily allowing the phones to ring and the front doorbell to ring and won’t even answer the door. Super unprofessional and super sad for the families and people looking for help from these people. I’ve even talked to several current residents who have expressed that they’ve been there years and can never get ahold of the property managers or front offices. How do they expect people to receive help and housing from their company when they keep hiring people who fail to do their jobs CONSTANTLY

I live Hamline Station Apartments in St. Paul that belongs to PPL. I lived here since 2015. First time I am experiencing poor management services and rude people in the office specially a lady that’s property manager and her team. Tenants can’t get service in case of key issues, garage door opener problems, and fob not functioning. The office is open only 3 day a week which is open around 3 hours.

I had an appointment last week which I was asking services and they told me that they can help last Friday 2/16 but a lady called me to let me know that they system is down and added another lady will call me to solve my problem but until now no calls.

I am sure PPL recieved grants from state claiming that they provide good housing services which is absolutely incorrect.

I won’t suggest this property otherwise you will end up helpless.

Poor property.

This is a slumlord place they'll take all your money but they won't fix anything they'll give you least violations on full stuff after you take him to court for not fixing things and do an ATR and a rent escrow and then they'll kick you out of your home because it's exactly what they did to me they kicked me my child out of our home because I held them accountable for not fixing things and things that should have been done before weaved and moved in the unit and made me and my child very ill out of this situation so that's why they in court I'm not done Plus they were failing to give me a copy of my move out and respect inspection which is against the law and I have proof of that on my phone and I sent it to him and they still haven't provided me that copy so my attorney going to hear about that one as well Good luck PPL
