I’m 58yo and my wife is 63. it’s been over 10 years since my wife and I purchased a new veh. I’m in LOVE with this vehicle. My wife and I were looking at the crosstrek initially and when we went to the dealer. John Harvey Subaru in bossier city, La. and actually sat in it.. we found it a bit to small for us as our last 2 purchases in the last 25 years were both jeeps. the associate Keyshawn understood and was awesome and showed us the outback. He was knowledgeable and answered all our questions we had, took us on a test drive and we were sold! We’ve had it almost a week now and are very impressed. I can’t say enough about how well we were treated at the dealership. Keyshawn(especially him) and the others there deserve an attaboy!!

We visited Friday for an oil change. Harvey's website lists that appointments aren't needed for oil changes. And the website lists that service is open until 6pm. Despite, this we were turned away at 5pm and told to make an appointment. We drove 45 minutes to do business with Harvey and they weren't even sorry for the discrepancy on the website and the way they wasted our time. We went ahead and made an appointment for today. We were on time but the car wasn't taken into service on time. We requested that our front plate be installed (we just purchased the car a few weeks ago). They charge more than $80 to put a plate on. The couple before us left rather than pay that fee. We refused it as well. Seems like Harvey isn't concerned with building loyal customers. Such a shame. A little kindness, apologizing for errors that are their fault, and expressing regret for causing a NEW customer inconvenience would have gone a long way.

Also, the special oil change price on the website is the regular price. The special is just a manipulation to get you in the door.

Was a joy to work with. Will Was super helpful in finding just the car I wanted. He was at the dealership late to get all the paperwork done, car was clean and gas tank full! He took the time to educate me on some of the features. I was recommended by my granddaughter and would recommend to anyone.

I have an issue about my expired 24 month service, I scheduled it on the 28th January and cancelled it due to work schedule conflict then totally forgot to reschedule it on the app.
Then, my car's battery died Feb 1 due to rear hatch not totally closed and was towed there Feb 2, battery was charged according to the one I spoke to. I was trying to get the 24 month service done but I was told it expired Jan. 3rd, I had an appoinment set and cancelled Jan.28, it’s only few days from when my car was towed. I did not know it expired Jan. 3 at all. There’s no sense of goodwill from the service desk, she said “no mam” twice nonchalantly.
This dealership denied me service and made me pay for the tire rotation and engine oil changed.
Never again will I buy a car from this dealership.
What an awful experience.

I emailed the service director and sales manager, never had response back from them. SMH

The staff was helpful and informative. They didn't not pressure me to make a purchase and were so nice about getting me exactly what I wanted. I love my new ascent. Keyshawn was great to talk to and very friendly. I couldn't be happier with my experience.

Buying the car was a breeze of course but now trying to get it in for an oil change is an absolute nightmare. We have been calling for weeks already and can't get a hold of anyone to schedule, leaving multiple voice messages. When we call and ask for a manager the lady that answers the phone is very rude and has NO manners. Shouldn't be this hard and frustrating to schedule an oil change!

Poor communication from service department, constantly saying the car needs maintenance or repairs which have already and recently been completed outside of the dealership. No consideration for customer wait time (if you thought there was an issue that should prevent me from leaving the lot - why did you wait nearly 40 minutes to tell me that?). Feels a little scammy in some regards. Not worth the hassle.
