We had shawarma both chicken and lamb and they are great at the time I’m doing this review I’m still chowing down. For those who don’t eat lamb the chicken is definitely phenomenal. And the service is excellent the hot sauce wasn’t hot enough for me and I was quickly complemented with a side of jalapeños with I really like. This spot is definitely worth it. Thank you again. Delicious fresh flavorful kebabs with super nice service.

Stopped by Gyro King and Grill of East Windsor, NJ in Sep 2024 for a family lunch. All the food ordered was very fresh and tasted great. The prices were reasonable. The portions were really generous, so we could hardly finish and took some food home.

Service was very friendly and attentive. We got some advice on Pakistani cuisine dishes and suggested choice was truly delicious.

The place seems to be take-out oriented as the interior is unremarkable and the food is served on plastic plates and in take-out containers. It doesn't affect food quality in any way, but just something to keep in mind.

We highly recommend Gyro King and Grill of East Windsor if you are in the area and looking for delicious kebabs and shawarma.

Appetizers - all tasted fresh and flavorful
Hummus - very smooth and nicely complimented by olive oil and olives. I liked that it wasn't sour like it's often done in US.
Babaganoush - excellent. Perfect texture and flavor.
Falafel - as it should be. You could feel it was just made. Nicely balanced texture and taste.

Mains - all were good and tasty
Chicken Kabob platter - tender and flavorful. Our daughter loved it and finished in no time.
Chicken Bihari platter - this one was suggested by the cashier to try the Pakistani cuisine flavor and it was absolutely the best!

Chapli Kabob platter - this one was somewhat dry, like a well-done burger with a curry taste. It was still good, but would rank last out of all food we ordered.

I got the Lamb Platter which was pretty okay for my first time here. I love all of their pickles and rice, but the lamb is a bit dry. It took 15 minutes for my plate but I don’t mind because I know my food was served freshly. My order was $21 with tax included, which is quite pricey. Nice service tho!

Ate here yesterday and this place is very clean! The service is great and the food was absolutely delicious!! I haven’t had good halal food like that since I moved from NYC. I had the mixed chicken over rice. 10/10 would recommend!!

Stopped in Gyro King yesterday for some yummy eats! My husband ordered a beef and lamb gyro and falafels which were both very delicious! I ordered a chicken shawarma platter which was full of flavor! If you haven't tried Gyro King yet, it should be on your list--

Food was good; especially the Gyro which was fire. EXCEPT the side of fries is incredibly small for $2. I was expecting a normal side of fries not less than a handful.

The food here is fantastic, with fresh ingredients and excellent service that makes for a delightful dining experience. However, the ambiance could use some improvement—unfortunately, we had a fly wandering around during our visit. Despite this, it’s definitely worth a try for the delicious gyros.
